Submission Guidelines:

Thank you for your interest in Illuminesse Magazine! We are looking for Beauty editorials (such as beauty portraits or closeups) for our issues. We believe in the importance of diversity and encourage submissions featuring all nationalities and cultures.

Submission of a DropBox link with your images is the ONLY accepted format.

Please label your folder with the issue submitting to, the photographer and model. (ex. January_ABC Photography_Jennifer)

For Photographers:

- You/r subject must be at least 18 years of age in order to submit to Illuminesse Magazine.

- We ask that you send us 7 - 20 of your best photos. Do not send more than 20 images. More images gives us the best chance to give you the best layout

- We only accept 3 submissions MAX per photographer per issue.

- Photo images must be clear, in JPEG format, 8.5'' x 11'' or 11'' x 17'' and at a minimum of 300 DPI.

- Please include your website link and any other significant links to your work. Team credits are required for all submissions. If the team credits are not included with your submission, your submission will not be published. Please make sure to verify carefully that all persons involved in the submission are included in the credits and their names are spelled correctly. If for any reason a submission is published and a individual/s credit is missing or incorrect the person who submitted the feature will be held responsible.

- Make sure to credit all members of your team (photographer, model, hair, makeup, designer and stylist) and give their links (if applicable) as well.

- Fill out and return the photo release form if your images are chosen for publication.

- Your photos will not be published without a release form on file.

For Models Submitting Themselves:

- In addition to the above, you must have written permission from the photographer to submit the images. Screenshots of messages are acceptable but must include Illuminesse magazine as the requested place to be submitted. If you are submitting the editorial and are not the photographer, please confirm and present to us a permission/release form from the photographer that owns the copyright to the images.

General Notes:

- We only accept exclusive images, do not submit images under consideration elsewhere.

- Illuminesse Magazine does not provide free print copies, as presently the publication is printed exclusively through Magcloud. We also do not pay for submissions, all photo shoot expenses for a submission to the magazine is covered by the team conducting the project.

- Once your submissions are accepted they must not be posted online or any social media until the magazine is released. So please keep that in mind when preparing for an exclusive shoot for our magazine.

- We don't provide free print copies. Illuminesse Magazine is a Print on Demand Magazine that is sold through MagCloud.

- We do send out tear sheets IF REQUESTED within 30 days of issue release (give or take a few days)

- All photos submitted to Illuminesse will stay under your/owner copyright when published in Illuminesse. Once an image is accepted to be published, it grants us the permission to use your work in any of our publications, websites, videos, marketing pieces, advertisements, and any other mediums or formats used in the creation, dissemination, and monetization of Illuminesse Magazine.

- Please remove or have your photographer all watermarks from images once accepted.

- We are required to have a release form so that we may have permission to use your images in the magazine and/or on website/social media.

- I understand that submission does not mean acceptance; and that all submissions are subjected to review.

- I grant this authorization free of charge.

How does the process work?
